Founded in 1995, Skyworks has led the casual games industry by creating games that engage mass audiences across multiple platforms including online, mobile, handheld videogame consoles, CD-ROMs and kiosks. The Skyworks management team includes video game industry pioneers David Crane and Garry Kitchen who were among the co-founders of Activision and Absolute Entertainment before Skyworks. Skyworks has signed a one year IT Staffing contract to fill direct hire openings in Skyworks’s Hackensack offices.  These Technical positions include Art Director, Game Producers and Web Developers.  Recruiting for these positions will be performed offsite in ACT’s Brielle Office.

August 15, 2007 Shrewsbury, NJ - EG&G is a leading provider of management and technical services to the U.S. government. Our staff of more than 12,300 employees provides program management, systems engineering and technical assistance, and operations and maintenance services to a variety of federal agencies, primarily the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security.  EG&G signed a contract with ACT Consulting for Direct Hire Staffing services for their efforts in Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna PA. And Eatontown NJ. Location. ACT will provide Technical Writer, Electronic Technicans, and Radar Operators along with other government contracting positions.  .  Recruiting for these positions will be performed offsite in ACT’s Brielle Office.

March 22, 2007 - Oakhurst, NJ.  Musical Heritage Society Inc is a mail-order and e-commerce entertainer/entertainment group. The Musical Heritage Society has issued thousands of recordings over the entire classical spectrum and including classic jazz, folk music and spoken word, too. Each year the Musical Heritage Society issues about 300 new recordings. Musical Heritage Society has contracted ACT’s IT Staffing Services for their Ocean NJ offices. ACT will provide staffing for a upgrade of a new website and customer service department.

July 26, 2007 Bayonne, NJ - Vertellus Specialties Inc. is a Leading global supplier of specialty chemicals and technology for: agriculture, nutrition, plastics, polymers and personal care products. Vertellus Specialties Inc contracted ACT Consulting to provide IT Support Services to their three New Jersey locations.  ACT will provide dedicated technical resources for hardware, software and network maintenance and support issues. July 2 2007 Hackensack, NJ – Slingo http://onlinegames.slingo.com  is one of the most successful casual game companies to emerge in the last ten years. It developed one of the most popular online games with an exciting combination of the best features of World-Wide favorites Bingo and Slots in 1995. One year later, it had blossomed into a multi-player online game and successfully debuted on America Online in October of 1996. May 25,  2007 – Hazlet, NJ. Voyant Strategies, Inc. has sold their IT Services Business Unit to ACT Consulting.  Mr. Ron Samson, Voyant’s President says “ACT’s acquisition of our IT Services arm will allow us to focus on our core service offering of ContentCatcher -- E-Mail Gateway Management for Business. ACT’s excellent reputation in the service market made this choice to sell very easy. We know our clients will receive professional IT Services and Support”  ACT Consulting successfully completed the acquisition of Voyant Strategies in their effort to continue building ACT’s  IT Service Business.  Through this acquisition ACT will obtain 18 corporate clients and hire Tom Stearn as ACT’s Sr. Network Engineer to manage and grow this area of ACT’s IT Service business.  ACT’s IT Service business continues to grow in the New York and New Jersey markets. With 8 Field Service Technicians and Network Technicians providing IT Support Services to a base of 70 companies, both large and small business.

May 1, 2007 - New York, NY.  Oberon Media has developed the leading global distribution network for casual games and distributes games to all the top gaming sites. The Oberon Game Center - http://corp.oberon-media.com -  host more than 120 partner-branded casual gaming sites, including MSN Games, Pogo, Blue Mountain, Playboy, France Telecom, Daum (Korea), and AOL ICQ. Oberon signed a 3 year contract with ACT for IT Consulting and Staffing Services for their New York, Seattle and London offices. ACT will provide IT skill set as well as Game Developer, Producers, Community Managers and Online Ad Sales Professionals. ACT will provide onsite recruiting resources at Oberon’s New York location.

March 1, 2007 - Chicago, Illinois. Midway Games Inc, with offices throughout the world, is a leading developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software for major video game systems and personal computers. Midway contracted ACT to provide IT Staffing & General Staffing Services for their US location.  This is a one year contract
To be serviced from our Brielle NJ location. ACT will provide Game Developer, Producers, Community Managers and Online Ad Sales Professionals.

January  22, 2007 - Camden, NJ.  INTEGRIAN, Inc.  a pioneer of mobile video camera technology based in Morrisville, NC. Their video surveillance systems are known for their reliability and accuracy particularly in harsh, mobile environments. Police agencies, transportation authorities and others look to INTEGRIAN to provide the highest possible protection against frivolous lawsuits, vandalism and security threats.  INTEGRIAN has signed a one year contract with ACT Consulting to provide onsite technical resources in the NJ Transit bus garages in south Jersey and NYC.  These resources will include 8 CCTV Technicans and 2 System Administrators; all placed in service on six month RTH contracts. ACT was awarded this contract from the hard work and dedication of ACT’s Senior Technical Recruiter, Tiffany Emerson.
